Polarcus wins 3D survey offshore Egypt

Polarcus Norway has received an award from an undisclosed client for a 3D marine seismic project offshore Egypt.

The company will be utilizing Polarcus’ RightBAND(TM) technique for broadband data acquisition.

According to the Polarcus’ press release, the project will start in Q1 2015 and is expected to run for approximately 50 days.

Polarcus did not disclose the name of the client, nor the value of the project.

Polarcus is a marine geophysical company delivering high-end towed streamer data acquisition and imaging services from Pole to Pole. The company offers contract seismic surveys and multi-client projects with advanced onboard processing solutions and employs over 600 professionals worldwide.
